What are your skills at Electrika?

All contractors who work in your home should be members of the Régie du bâtiment du Quebec. You can check the license of any contractor in the license holder's repertory. Electrika has held its RBQ license since 2004 and remains a member in good standing.


All electrical contractors have to be members of the CMEQ, the governing body for all electrical contractors in Quebec. Its mission is to protect the public and ensure integrity and safe practices for all its members.

CAA Quebec is a non-profit organization that offers its members high quality residential services, as well as automotive, travel and financial services and products. They complete customer satisfaction surveys for each of the business affiliated with them. If you are a CAA member and show your card at the time of service, Electrika will give you a 5% discount off the service rendered.

Members of the APCHQ are renovation master professionals recognized for their experience, their professionalism and their skills. Members have committed themselves to implement rules that reflect the best practices in renovation. We are able to offer financing for your home electrical project through the APCHQ reno ready program.

Do you have liability insurance? If yes, can I have proof?

Of course, we will be happy to show it to you.

Do you provide a written guarantee?

Yes, we provide a written warranty for all the work we do in your house.

How long are your jobs guaranteed?

We guarantee all repairs for one year. If a repair fails within the first year we will repair it again absolutely free. All electrical panel and main service installations are guaranteed for a period of 3 years. Equipment and Fixtures that are installed in your home are guaranteed for a period of 1 year.

Do you offer financing?

Yes we offer financing. Please call for details.

What is a home safety inspection?

Electrika conducts a 12-point or 60-point evaluation of your electrical system. Our electricians will open panels, check for exposed wiring, lights, receptacles, switches, safety hazards, code violations and ground connections. This service is also offered to home owners and prospective home buyers who want to have a house inspected before they buy it.

Do you guarantee the price of the work in writing before it starts (even if you take 2 times longer than expected to finish it)?

With Electrika, you will have no surprises at the end of the job, as we give upfront pricing and we stick to it. What we give you is the actual cost to perform the service needed, so you know in advance how much it will cost you.

Will all electricians who work at my home have a permit?

All our electricians are fully qualified and most of them have more than 15 years of experience.

How Much Will the Work Cost?

At Electrika, there are no surprises, as we will tell you upfront how much it will cost you to have the work done at your house.

How Can I Pay for the Work?

We accept cash, cheque, MasterCard, and Visa.

Can I do my electrical work myself?

All electrical work in your home must be carried out by a licensed electrician. It is illegal to hire anyone else. Let our electricians take care of it for you.

How do I know if I need an electrician?

  • If your lights dim and flicker

  • If you still have fuses instead of circuit breakers

  • If your electrical circuits are dangerously overloaded

  • If you want to install a hot tub or a pool

  • If you want to install recessed lights

  • If you want to do some electrical work in your house

What kind of materials do you use?

We only use the best products that you can find on the market.

When will you be able to do the work?

If it is an emergency, you can reach us 24/7 and we will come to your home promptly. In any case, we will make sure that we respond to you in a timely manner. You can book an appointment by calling our live customer care from Monday to Saturday from 7 am to 5 pm. As we have fully stocked trucks, we should be able in most cases to service your needs immediately. If it's a longer job, we guarantee you that the work will be completed on time.

What is VIP treatment?

At Electrika, all our clients are important. Real people answer our phones and we will always treat you with courtesy and respect. We also make sure to always wear shoe protectors on our boots and will make sure we leave your home as clean if not cleaner than when we arrived.
